NEW TEETH Take it!
Our good friends New Teeth managed to walk away with the $5000 Round 1 prize at the Big Money Shot Friday, and we couldn't be happier for them! We couldn't have been knocked out by a more worthy band.
Check out them and some other friends of ours, The Watters Bros, at the Live Lounge on June 11 for the Round 1 Finals.

Great trip! Finished EP on the way!
Hey everyone,
We just got back from a fun-filled weekend on the road. We hit The Velvet Underground in Toronto on Friday night, where we were really well received, and we rocked out with The Watters Brothers at Charlie's Pub in Renfrew on Saturday.
It needs to be said that we were well-accomodated and copiously fed by several folks along the way, so to them--THANK YOU!
The EP is all done and out of our hands. We'll have them back from the pressing plant later this week! Big show is in less than two weeks! Hope to see you all there!

All went according to plan last Tuesday night. With the help of our good friend Yogi, we banged that mother out in no time.

Happy New Year/Update
Happy New Year friends! Hope it was a good holiday for everyone.
2010 is shaping up to be a big year for us, especially since 2009 was a half year for our relatively new band. We got to cap off 2009 with back-to-back shows in Toronto, and we kicked off 2010 (a day late) with a show at Ottawa's Cajun Attic that was one of the most fun we've taken part in thus far! Thanks so much to all of you who braved the cold, snowy weather to be there and make it a special night! Thanks as well to The Face of Jam, Pool, and New Teeth (who did not play but were well represented!).
Final mixes for our first EP are all done and they should be up on this space within hours. We are also putting the final touches on making these available to you in physical format--hopefully we'll have these ready for February, but let's keep that on the down low for the time being, OK? We've come up with a really simple design for the packaging that we're really excited about. We can't wait to share it with you!
Next up, we've got a show at Zaphods on January 14th with our good friends from Montreal, The Gospel, as well as Ottawa friends The Donna Litas. This will definitely be a rock show in all senses of that term, so come on out and be able to say you were there!

We had an intense mixing session with Yogi yesterday evening, and at the end of it all, we finally have some songs to show! They'll be available as in EP in some physical form in the near future, but for now you can check them here and on our myspace. Hope you enjoy!

What a great weekend
We all had such a great time on our little "mini-tour" with Meadowlark Five from Thursday to Sunday. From Ottawa to Wakefield to Montreal, we got to meet some great bands as well as some great people. Thanks a bunch to all the bands and to everyone who came out!

Making good progress on the EP!
Ornaments were in the studio today laying down some final parts for the EP. Things went great! Yogi is fantastic to work with. All that's really left is some mixing, and we hope to finish that up sometime in the next couple of weeks. Please stay tuned and we'll let you know!
